Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Whitemail website at whitemail.io and the information, materials, and services made available through it. Whitemail is operated by Vera Soft (“Whitemail”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing whitemail.io, submitting an enquiry, or otherwise using the site, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you have the authority to do so on behalf of any organisation you represent.
2. The service
Whitemail is a self-hosted, on-premises mail server and collaboration platform. This website provides information about the product, licensing, and an interactive demonstration. The Whitemail software itself is licensed separately under the applicable licence or subscription agreement provided at the time of purchase or download.
3. Licences
Whitemail is offered under Basic, Professional, Premier, and Enterprise licences, each covering a defined number of users, as described on the website. The specific terms, entitlements, and support levels applicable to a licence are set out in the order form and licence agreement between you and Vera Soft.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the site;
- copy, scrape, or republish site content except as permitted below.
5. Intellectual property
The Whitemail name, logo, website content, and design are the property of Vera Soft and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not use them without prior written permission, except for fair reference to the product.
6. Third-party open-source software
The Whitemail platform integrates established open-source components, including Postfix, Dovecot, SOGo, Rspamd, ClamAV, and Ceph. Each component is provided under its own open-source licence, and your use of those components is subject to those licences. Third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
7. Submissions and enquiries
Information you submit through our forms is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it.
8. Third-party links
The site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites, and links do not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vera Soft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vera Soft from any claims or demands arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of the Netherlands shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
